Diagnostic imaging services provider Affidea has entered into a binding agreement to acquire Q Diagnostica from Atlanta Private Equity.

The move allows Affidea to foray into the Spanish market and expands its presence to 16 countries

Recently, Affidea entered into a binding agreement to acquire 23 centres in Romania. After it receives approval for the acquisition of Q Diagnostica, the company will have a total of 235 centres in Europe.

For the past 25 years, Q Diagnostica has been offering quality medical services for clients in the public and private sectors.

The company operates 35 MRI, 16 CT, 3 PET-CT scanners and many other diagnostics systems throughout its network of 34 modern medical centres located in 7 regions of Spain.
