Advantica (formerly Advantica EyeCare), a Florida-based vision and dental benefits company, has been awarded an Organizational Certification from the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) for its utilization management program.
Since 2004, Advantica has been developing a comprehensive, proprietary product portfolio and programs that analyze the appropriateness of care, establish benchmarks for quality eye care, and employ continuous claim review to improve both the quality and cost of care being delivered.
Advantica’s comprehensive understanding of all facets of the eye care delivery system has led to various products and programs.
Advantica president and CEO Richard Sanchez said achieving NCQA certification for utilization management validates the work we have done in building our team and systems.
"This type of acknowledgement by a key oversight organization is important to us, particularly as we partner with health plan clients," Sanchez said.
