Advancis Medical, a UK-based manufacturer of advanced wound care products, has announced the opening of a new company in the Netherlands.
Based in Kampen, the Netherlands, Advancis Medical Nederland will be run by healthcare executive, Ron Sellies.
Advancis Medical manufactures a range of advanced wound care products that use innovative materials to reduce healing times, maximize patient comfort and provide cost effective solutions to wound care.
Sellies noted that the Advancis range of products presents an extremely attractive wound care proposition to healthcare practitioners in the Netherlands, as they successfully combine superior patient outcomes with high levels of time and cost saving efficiency.
"The Dutch market will be very receptive to our range of products and we are looking forward to meeting healthcare professionals across the country to talk to them about Advancis," Sellies added.
Advancis Medical sales and marketing director Mark Allatt noted the opening of its new company in the Netherlands signals its commitment to the international growth of Advancis.

In the UK, Advancis Medical was the first company to launch medical grade Manuka honey as a medical device. The company’s product range has been expanded to use the latest advances in material technology and now includes soft silicone atraumatic dressings, super absorbent dressings designed to handle high levels of exudate and fluid and our hydrophilic foam dressing range.
