Eyecare instruments provider Advancing Eyecare (AEC) has acquired US-based ophthalmic equipment distributor Veatch Ophthalmic Instruments for an undisclosed price.
Based in Arizona, Veatch Ophthalmic Instruments supplies ophthalmic technology to eye care professionals all over the US.
The deal is expected to broaden the product and service offerings of Veatch Ophthalmic Instruments and Advancing Eyecare to their combined customers and benefit from synergistic growth opportunities.
Based in Florida, Advancing Eyecare has seven brands in eyecare instrumentation. It is said to provide a one-stop solution for ophthalmic equipment and services to independent eye care practitioners, hospitals, national chains, and teaching institutions.
The firm has a technical sales force and equipment service team to support customers in running a vision care practice.

Advancing Eyecare is owned by US-based private investment firm Cornell Capital, which acquired it in May 2022 from Atlantic Street Capital for an undisclosed price.
The ophthalmic instruments said that the acquisition of Veatch Ophthalmic Instruments will further strengthen its position in the eyecare instruments area.
