Not-for-profit hospital affiliated company Advanced Home Care has purchased Extrakare, which is based in Norcross, Georgia, US.

Extrakare commercial products include home oxygen, PAP devices, designed for the treatment of sleep apnea, and CPM devices used during rehabilitation and other home medical equipment.

Advanced Home Care CEO Joel Mills said the acquisition of Extrakare will enable the company to expand its commitment of providing extraordinary care to patients in Greater Atlanta area.

"We will create a new region of operations in Northern Georgia with Scott Lloyd as Regional Director and Kevin Godwin as our Branch Manager," Mills added.

"Going forward, we will expand services offered to patients in this region.

"This is an exciting addition to our geography with quality leaders and staff members joining our team."

Scott Lloyd is the co-founder and president of Extrakare, while Kevin Godwin is the co-founder and vice president.
