The AquaCase, which is claimed to be the world’s first and only swimmable, waterproof case for cochlear implant recipients, is used with the company’s Naída CI Q70 (Naída CI) sound processor.

The accessory provides recipients with uncompromised hearing performance and peace of mind during even the most rugged adventures, according to the company.

Featuring a security lock and special corrosion-resistant materials, the AquaCase can be worn with a compatible clip, armband and lanyard.

The AquaCase is designed for use with the swimmable AB’s IP 68-rated microphone, AquaMic that has helped Neptune processor users over the past three years and is now available for Naída CI processors users.

Hansjuerg Emch, President of Advanced Bionics and Group Vice President of the Sonova Medical Division where AB resides, said, "We are very pleased that with the introduction of the AquaCase for Naída CI, waterproof hearing is now available for the world’s most advanced behind-the-ear processor."

The company said with Naída CI, it delivers a quantum leap forward in performance and wireless connectivity with a chic, modern instyle design.

The AquaCase container is pending regulatory approval in the US.
