The deployment enables ActiveCare to efficiently provide chronic disease management telehealth solutions to its members.

ActiveCare chief operations officer Michael Jones said, "Telehealth has long hoped to be a means of providing a higher level of care more cost effectively."

Qualcomm Life vice president and general manager Rick Valencia said the company’s 2net Hub solution will enable it to proactively assist individual plan members to better manage their treatment and reduce the cost of care.

"The seamless connectivity of our 2net Platform paired with ActiveCare’s software and Care Services allows us to aid ActiveCare in tracking biometric data from chronically ill members more quickly and easily than was previously possible," Valencia added.
