ACIST Medical Systems, a provider of contrast imaging system technology for cardiology and radiology fields and a part of the Bracco Group, has appointed Thomas Morizio as the new president and chief operating officer (COO).
Morizio brings over 24 years of experience in business development, market development, technical and product development, international marketing, strategy and portfolio planning from his prior roles at Medtronic and Baxter Healthcare Corporations.
ACIST CEO and Bracco Global Business Unit Imaging head Fulvio Renoldi Bracco said that ACIST will benefit from Tom’s vast experience and leadership in the cardiovascular arena and they are confident that Tom’s leadership skills and experience will successfully guide ACIST as they continue to innovate and grow in their current and emerging markets.
