The patented technology generally relates to the wireless transmission of physiological data such as heart rate and blood pressure.

The technology has applications such as monitoring of implantable devices, as well as home healthcare and fitness systems.

Acacia chairman and CEO Paul Ryan said that as the company’s licensing success grows, an increasing number of technology companies are selecting it as their partner for the licensing of their patented technologies.
