Abbott Laboratories has entered into an cooperation agreement with Israel government to cooperate with the Industry, Trade and Labor ministry on developing innovative technologies.

The deal is part of the ministry’s set of global enterprise framework cooperation agreements with multinational firms to increase startups in Israel.

The signing of the agreement took place at the office of Benjamin Ben Eliezer, minister of Industry, Trade and Labor in Jerusalem, in the presence of chief scientist Eli Opper, reported HAARETZ.com.

Abbott Diagnostics Products senior vice president Edward Michael was quoted by HAARETZ.com as saying that he was pleased at the opportunity to cooperate with the ministry on developing technologies.
