Optym is designed to have a resistance to melting during the sealing process with available options to additionally include tamper evidence. Our Optym™ IV Overwrap Films are designed with high clarity for optimal packaging performance that can withstand E Beam, Steam, and Gamma sterilization. It is produced as a one component package, allowing for higher packaging speeds and significant material savings. Print options and a range of thicknesses from 1 to 12 mils are available for a customized product to meet customer specifications. With reduced gel counts and defects, Optym IV Overwrap is a reliable choice for solution packaging.
Optym™ Flow Wrap provides superior clarity and toughness for the ultimate medical device protection. Our Flow Wrap offers significant material savings in a one component package that allows for increased packaging speeds. It has the capability to endure most common sterilization methods to deliver optimal protective packaging. In addition, Optym Flow Wrap has an array of print and color options available for a customizable product with gauge thickness ranging from 1 to 12 mil.
Optym™ Top Web Films are available in up to 9-layer configurations, and designed for E Beam, Gamma, or Steam sterilization applications to deliver maximum fortification against exposure. EVANSVILLE, Ind., February 3, 2022 – In alignment with its operational Impact 2025 sustainability goals, Berry Global Group, Inc. (NYSE: BERY) announced all of its Health, Hygiene, and Specialities Division facilities located in China as zero waste to landfill. These facilities join the Division’s global list of 12 facilities to receive the prestigious internal recognition. Berry encourages all sites to embark on a zero waste to landfill journey, defined internally as diverting over 90% of waste away from disposal, with less than 1% of waste being disposed via landfill.
Berry Global has begun construction of its new manufacturing facility and global Centre of Excellence in India.
