The Miller group of companies has integrated its acquisition of Creative Technology Services and formed a new division, Miller Technical Services (MTS).

The addition of MTS allows Miller to leverage its 80 years of experience in the aerospace, automotive and defense industries, while adding a staff that has many years of experience in the medical industry.

MTS specialises in contract manufacturing and assembly of complex medical devices.

With the recent addition of its new executive management staff, it also has competency in the production of sterile and implantable devices, the company said.

MTS currently supports an advanced class III device for Johnson & Johnson, manufactures a cardiac imaging device, a diagnostic device for ophthalmic defects and various other Class I and Class II devices.

MTS chief operating officer John Toigo said that with their experience and successful FDA registration and quality recertifications, the MTS organisation is approved and fully capable as both a device manufacturer and a contract manufacturer for Class I, II, and III products destined for marketing in the USA, EU, and Canada.

“Since MTS also holds a radiation-handling certification from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, we are one of the most qualified and diversified medical device contract manufacturers in the industry,” Toigo said.
