Oklahoma-based Sayre Memorial Hospital has selected T SystemEV, an emergency department (ED) information system from T-System, to improve the quality of care for its ED patients and enhance clinical and revenue performance.

Sayre Memorial has used T-System’s T-Sheets paper documentation solution since 2008 and expects a smooth transition and fast adoption to the ED electronic health record (EHR).

The hospital will begin implementing T SystemEV, the ONC-ATCB certified version 3.0, this spring over 16 weeks in its level 4 trauma ED and expects to meet Meaningful Use Stage 1 core objectives by 30 June.

Sayre Memorial Hospital CEO Wally Boyd said this extra measure of accountability will help Sayre standardize documentation, capture required information for Meaningful Use, comply with regulations, and accelerate more accurate billing to increase revenue.

T-System chief operations officer Mikael Ohman said with the help of their ONC-ATCB certified solution, Sayre Memorial can qualify for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) incentives ensure high quality care and capture the appropriate documentation needed to optimize revenue.
