D Medical Industries has received a US patent No. 8,021,334 for its valve technology that allows safe administration of a desired amount of insulin.
The technology can also detect malfunctions that may lead to over or under administration.
The valve technology comprises an integral part of the company’s proprietary Intellispring and Total Line Control systems, which are also featured in its Spring Zone and Spring Hybrid insulin pumps.
D Medical COO Hezkiah Tsoory said as they continue to work toward the commercialization of their Spring pump technology, it is important that the many innovations that define these products are well protected.
