Cantel Medical has completed the acquisition of PuriCore International, a provider of automated endoscope reprocessors, endoscope drying and storage cabinets, chemistry and consumables in addition to comprehensive maintenance and validation services in the UK.
According to Cantel Medical, PuriCore International will be renamed Cantel Medical (UK) and will be reported as part of the company’s Endoscopy segment.
Cantel Medical claims that this transaction further enhances the company’s global leadership of automated endoscope reprocessing and provides it with additional resources and capabilities to execute on its broader international strategy.
Cantel Medical COO and Medivators president Jorgen Hansen said this acquisition is an exciting step in the execution of its international strategy.
