Medical technology firm Stryker has expanded its spine product portfolio with the introduction of a new LITe BIO delivery system.
The new hand-held device has been developed to facilitate delivery of bone graft material to spinal surgery sites, helping surgeons to accommodate preferred graft materials.
LITe BIO system enables surgeons to use single-handed method to deliver any type of autograft, allograft or synthetic bone graft material without obstructing visibility.
The delivery tool, which offers tactile, visual and audible confirmation of bone graft delivery, eliminates the impaction of bone graft.
According to the company, the patented system can be used for any type of spine fusion surgery, including minimally invasive procedures. Its low-profile design enables visibility through a decompression tube without obstructing view.

The company’s spine portfolio includes products and instruments, which will be used for access, interbody, fixation, and fusion.
