Royal Philips Electronics has launched its new Veradius Neo mobile C-arm with flat detector to enhance management of challenging patients and procedures.

Veradius Neo features a new C-arc geometry which provides more room for surgeons to work and to position around patients and its mobile c-arms can be repositioned many times during most procedures in order to deliver visualization for image-guided interventions.

It also features a flat detector imaging technology which provides high-quality images without the distortion and its easily removable grid on the flat detector helps surgeons to visualize small anatomy and extremities with exceptional image quality.

Veradius Neo incorporates a full range of dose management features that allow low X-ray dose for lengthy minimally invasive procedures and provides high-quality images.

Philips beam filters enhance the quality of X-ray while the monoblock design results in sharp pulses to support excellent dose efficiency.

Veradius Neo is mostly used during orthopedic surgeries and endovascular repairs.
