MediPurpose has entered into an agreement to supply its SurgiLance safety lancet to Austria - based Vitalogic.
SurgiLance safety lancet fingerstick devices are used in a blood spot test to screen for Type 2 diabetes.
SurgiLance is available in six models, ranging from 18-26 gauges and 1.0-2.3 mm penetration depths.
Vitalogic said it will use these results to tailor their nutritional supplement Vita Tonic, which facilitates Type 2 diabetics with better management of blood sugar levels.
MediPurpose president and CSO Randy Prathers said their new point-of-care diagnostic partner Vitalogic uses amino acid supplements in the treatment of Type 2 diabetics.
