Covalon Technologies is exhibiting its IV Clear line of antimicrobial clear silicone adhesive vascular access securement dressings at the 2012 Infusion Nurses Society Annual Convention & Industrial Exhibition (INS) in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, from 30 April -2 May 2012.
Covalon chief executive officer Brian Pedlar said the company’s new products are designed to address the growing need for infection control including catheter related blood stream infections (CRBSI).
"We are looking forward to introducing our new line-up of products to our growing domestic and international distribution channels and to medical product companies who are looking to license breakthrough new products," Pedlar added.
Covalon is also exhibiting its new medical device coatings including lubricious and antimicrobial coated catheters, which utilize the company’s patented CovaCoat technology.
