The software solutions from Philips will help Prisma Health to advance its patient monitoring and enterprise imaging, and help drive interoperability and data analytics

Royal Philips has teamed up with Prisma Health to boost the latter’s enterprise interoperability, patient monitoring, and enterprise imaging capabilities.
Under the partnership, Prisma Health will gain access to Philips HealthSuite secure cloud platform for improving its enterprise interoperability.
The healthcare system will benefit from Philips’ real-time patient monitoring, therapeutic devices, telehealth, image management, and informatics interoperability solutions portfolio.
The portfolio includes radiology and cardiology PACS, advanced visualisation, vendor-neutral archive (VNA) and Philips Enterprise Viewer Vue Motion, along with Philips Capsule Medical Device Information Platform.
In addition to access to the Philips technologies, Prisma Health will see the largest installation of the ‘Philips Enterprise Performance Analytics – Performance Bridge’ platform in North America.

Performance Bridge platform provides healthcare professionals with access to almost real-time data on departmental performance on an interactive dashboard.
It consolidates the information across different imaging modalities and informatics solutions to boost organisational efficiency and facilitates additional revenue streams.
Prisma Health is said to be the largest non-profit healthcare system in South Carolina, with around 30,000 team members, working across 18 acute and speciality hospitals and more than 300 outpatient sites.
It has nearly 2,000 physicians, and serves more than 1.5 million unique patients per annum, in its market area which covers 50% of South Carolina.
The healthcare system aims to achieve its quadruple aim of improving patient and staff satisfaction, reducing costs, and improving outcomes for patients in South Carolina.
It intends to leverage Philips Performance Bridge to enhance innovation and monitor the quality of its healthcare delivery.
