WIELAND Dental + Technik, a manufacturer of dental technology, has entered into a collaboration agreement to license 3M's processed zirconia coloring technology for dental use.
With the coloring technology, WIELAND can shade uncolored, tooth-shaped zirconia to a prescribed shade, color-matching the restoration to the natural color of patients’ teeth.
In addition to dental technology, WIELAND provides prosthetics in dental medicine including solders, electroforming, pressing ceramic, implants, expendable, veneering ceramic, and furnace products and precious metal electrolytes and services in the precious metal refining, recovery, and disposal sectors.
In addition, WIELAND produces semi-finished precious metal products for technical and decorative applications, including brazing and special alloys.
