Westpak, an independent testing laboratory providing custom testing services , has received ISO 14001 certification.
Westpak has laboratory facilities in San Jose and San Diego, California, US, and are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for various test procedures.
Westpak said initial services will be offered from the San Jose site, followed thereafter by the San Diego site.
Westpak assistant quality manager Catherine Dowling said the company’s intention and commitment is to carry the process forward by providing various services aimed at helping client firms reduce their waste, lower their carbon footprint and improve their overall material efficiencies in areas like packaging, product design and material selections.
