Western Medical Center Santa Ana has installed Toshiba America Medical Systems's Infinix VF-i bi-plane vascular X-ray system with Volume Navigation 3D roadmapping, to increase diagnostic capabilities in interventional procedures, especially for advanced neuro applications.

Western Medical Center’s Infinix VF-i bi-plane features Toshiba‘s new mid-sized 12" x 12" flat panel detector on the lateral plane, combined with a large 12" x 16" flat panel detector on the frontal plane to allow for increased anatomical coverage.

The image quality and system design of the Infinix VF-i bi-plane has allowed Western Medical to reduce procedure times and improve patient care and safety.

The Infinix VF-i bi-plane system offers patient access with a floor-mounted C-arm five-axis positioner, allowing for head-to-toe and fingertip-to-fingertip coverage.

The freely moving components, ergonomically friendly design and five-axis positioner enable clinicians to obtain optimal angles for diagnosis and interventional procedures without repositioning the patient.

The combination of the mid-sized and large detector panels makes this system the most flexible bi-plane vascular X-ray system available.
