Vishay Intertechnology, a manufacturer of passive electronic components, has introduced new precision MELF resistor laboratory sample kits to simplify prototyping.

Built on thin film technology, the kits, including MMA 0204 and MMB 0207, supplies 20 resistors for every fourth value of the E-96 series with 0.1% tolerance and temperature coefficient of ± 25 ppm/K.

Enclosed in blister tape on clearly labeled six-ring A5 binder pages, the resistors can be used in various applications including medical equipments, power supplies, power meters, solar inverters, automotive engine and gearbox control units, test and measurement and lighting systems.

The resistors included in the lab kits are AEC-Q200 qualified and approved according to EN 140401-803, claims the company.

In addition to passive electronic components, the company manufactures discrete semiconductors including diodes, MOSFETs, and infrared optoelectronics.
