The US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) has awarded a national contract to Cardiocom to supply its telehealth products and services portfolio.

Cardiocom telehealth products and services include Commander Home Telehealth Monitoring System, Interactive Voice Response System and Omnivisor Patient Management Software.

The Commander Device and measurement tools include weight scale, blood pressure, and pulse oximeter will be used to transmit VA patients vital sign and symptom data from the comfort of their homes.

The Interactive Voice Response System offers an additional solution for patients to communicate health status data with VA clinicians using their own standard telephone or cellular phone.

Cardiocom’s Omnivisor Patient Management Software provides VA care coordinators the ability to monitor patients with home devices or voice response inputs from a single software platform to determine if the patient requires additional medical care.

Cardiocom CEO and president Daniel Cosentino said they are honored to be selected by the Department of Veteran Affairs to provide telehealth solutions to improve the care of Veteran patients.
