TranS1 has introduced new minimally invasive lateral access fusion system for interbody fusions.

The lateral access system is designed to directly view the psoas muscles and adjacent nerves prior to muscle dissection.

The company said the radiopaque markers are also strategically located within the implants to allow for proper placement.

TranS1’s president and CEO Ken Reali said the introduction of their lateral system represents an excellent strategic fit with AxiaLIF, as the majority of their current customers use a minimally invasive lateral approach for specific pathologies needing interbody spine fusion.
