Toshiba America Medical Systems has deployed its T.RAD PlusTM X-ray system with the new wireless detector in Lansdale Hospital.

The T.RAD’s wireless flat-panel digital detector, coupled with a 650-pound weight capacity table with a rotating bucky tray, allows technologists to image a range of patients quickly and efficiently.

Lansdale Hospital Diagnostic Imaging supervisor Sherri Koller said the wireless DR panel eliminates the limitations with tethered detectors and is beneficial in improving exam efficiency.

Toshiba X-ray Vascular Business Unit director Stephen Bumb said T.RAD Plus X-ray system provides the ultimate in digital technology with productivity solutions to help overcome the everyday challenges facing today’s radiography departments.
