Titan Medical and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise (Apollo) have entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) agreement.

As per the understanding, Apollo will conduct test and assess Titan’s Amadeus Next Generation Robotic Surgical technologies.

After conducting tests, Apollo will provide detailed feedback to Titan Medical.

Apollo Hospitals chairman Prathap Reddy said they look forward to provide these robotic procedures to their patients to help combat cardiac disease, as well as prostate and uterine cancer.

Titan Medical president Reiza Rayman said they are also focusing their efforts on building a foothold beyond the US where robotic surgery is still in its infancy.
