Global provider of medical device solutions Symmetry Medical has obtained United States Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) nod for its FLASH PAK Evolution valve.
The valve, which is distributed exclusively by Symmetry Surgical, is designed specifically for the company’s immediate use (flash) sterilization product, FLASH PAK.
Symmetry Medical claims that the patent pending stainless steel construction of the new valve offers ease of use and care.
Symmetry Surgical chief operating officer Chris Huntington said the company’s key objective is to ensure that the care and maintenance of its products are made easy for hospitals.
"The Evolution valve brings a new level of innovation to our market leading FLASH PAK®; a product that clinicians have grown to depend on for over 20 years," Huntington said.
