IT and medical technology company Sectra has signed a multi-year agreement with Region Jönköping.

This Swedish county council is thus changing to Sectra’s IT solution for the management and storage of radiology images and patient information (PACS and RIS) for its mammography operation. The order value amounts to EUR 1.6 Million.

To enable care providers to give better, faster and more patient-centered care, Sectra offers systems and services for comprehensive management and storage of all types of medical images, primarily for large image diagnostics units, such as radiology, mammography and pathology, but also in other departments, where medical image material is used.

Medical images for cancer diagnostics run like a common thread through Sectra’s offering.

Sectra was founded in 1978 and has its roots in Linköping University in Sweden. The company’s business operation includes cutting-edge products and services within the niche segments of medical systems and secure communication systems.
