Stephens County Hospital is planning to establish a wound care facility in Toccoa, Georgia, US.

The hospital authority has asked Ed Gambrell, administrator of the hospital, to find a suitable location to establish this facility, independentmail.com reported.

The hospital anticipates to open the wound care center in next spring.

The website has quoted Gambrell as saying that they are looking to partner with a wound therapy company, which the authority (governing board) will approve their agreement at a later time.

"We are moving forward with allowing me to acquire property to use for that purpose and to negotiate with this wound care company with the hopes that we can have a wound care center open before too many months from now," Gambrell said.
