Spring Health Solutions, a subsidiary of D Medical Industries, has donated its Spring Universal Infusion Set and a $250 gift to Arden's Day's Untitled Giving project until 3-years.
The project’s goal is to provide Insulin Pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitors to children of underinsured/uninsured families who cannot afford to buy them.
The Spring Universal Infusion Set features smallest one-click, all-in-one inserter with a hidden, auto-retractable needle, 360 degree connector and is used to treat diabetes mellitus type 1.
The Infusion Sets uses Detach-Detect mechanism and in the case the base of the infusion set detaches from the user’s body, a blocking mechanism is triggered which, in turn, creates an occlusion.
This evokes an occlusion alarm in an insulin pump and enables for continuously controlled and monitored insulin delivery, providing additional safety.
