Spine Wave, a developer of medical devices to treat spinal disorders, has received the US Food and Drug administration (FDA) approval for its StaXx XDL Expandable Device.
The StaXx XDL System uses Spine Wave’s proprietary expandable technology and is implanted using a lateral surgical approach.
Spine Wave chairman and CEO Mark LoGuidice said this milestone further demonstrates their commitment to develop new products based on their proprietary expandable technology.
"We will continue to invest heavily in the development of differentiated technologies as we broaden our product portfolio," LoGuidice said.
Spine Wave other products include StaXx XD Expandable Device, CapSure PS2 Spine System, Sniper Spine System, StaXx FX Percutaneous Vertebral Augmentation and NuCore Injectable Nucleus.
