Spectros, a California-based maker of molecular sensing and imaging devices, has roped in three new distributors based in Switzerland, Denmark and Korea.
Spectros develops T-Stat 303 VLS Tissue and Continuum Oximeters to treat ischemia and cancer.
The T-Stat oximeter provides a continuous, non-invasive and localized measurement, sensitive to regional and global ischemia.
Continuum is a solid-state illuminator that creates light of many wavelengths, called broadband, which allows for noninvasive analysis of various components in tissue and blood, including different types of hemoglobin, fat content and water content.
Spectros director Sales Elizabeth van Thillo-Rohlff said this move accelerates their expansion into new and emerging markets in Europe and Asia.
