Rubbermaid Medical Solutions (RMS) has signed an agreement with Valence Technology to extend its battery supply contract.
Valence batteries are made of lightweight, non-corrosive materials and render power density, weight, reliability, long life and lower lifetime cost pros compared to the conventional lead acid batteries.
Rubbermaid Medical Solutions director Sid Amasya said the benefits of extended battery life, fast charging, lighter weight, and reliability are exceeding expectations as well as enhancing the productivity of their customers.
Valence Technology sales and marketing vice president RJ Adleman said the extension agreement demonstrates the continued acceptance of Valence’s batteries within the medical industry.
"We understand that Rubbermaid and many of their customers are realizing significant performance, safety and reliability advantages as a result of our lithium phosphate solution," RJ Adleman added.
