RadNet, a US based provider of fixed-site outpatient diagnostic imaging services through a network of 206 fully-owned and/or operated outpatient imaging centers, has completed the acquisition of five multi-modality imaging centers in Maryland from Diagnostic Health Corporation.

The facilities located in Bowie, Chevy Chase, Frederick, Rockville and Waldorf operate a combination of MRI, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, mammography, x-ray and other related modalities.

RadNet president and CEO Howard Berger said the transaction furthers their position in Maryland and strengthens network of centers.

Diagnostic Health is a provider of diagnostic imaging services with 17 freestanding locations in 7 states and the District of Columbia across the country with over 270 employees.

Diagnostic Health facilities offer a combination of outpatient diagnostic imaging services, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear Medicine, x-ray, flouroscopy, bone density, and EMG services.

Its focus is providing diagnostic imaging services to the medical community, including physicians, providers and corporations.
