Radisens Diagnostic has received a contract from the National Health Service (NHS) East of England to develop a creatinine (kidney) test.

Radisens Diagnostics integrates haematology, biochemistry and immunoassay tests onto a single mini-disc panel to monitor and diagnose patients for multiple acute care and chronic conditions.

Radisens will integrate creatinine (kidney) test on to its long-term chronic care panel which results in better patient care and productivity gains and efficiences in the healthcare system.

The test is performed by taking a finger-prick of blood and is applied to the panel and the results are obtained within minutes.

Radisens Diagnostics CEO Jerry Brien said decentralising the long-term disease management to point of care, leads to improved patient care, and productivity gains and efficiencies within the healthcare system.
