Precision Engineered Products (PEP) has completed the acquisition of Boston Endo-Surgical Technologies (BE-ST).
Under the acquisition, BE-ST will be integrated into PEP’s Lacey business unit, based in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
BE-ST will provide a development pipeline of new technologies and strengthen PEP’s position in the spinal surgery arena.
PEP manufactures surgical stapling devices, endoscopic and laparoscopic devices, drug delivery systems and other medical components.
PEP products also include energy management technology, transportation safety devices and critical components to aerospace and other higher technology industries.
PEP CEO Alan Huffenus said the addition of the Boston Endo-Surgical Technologies products and brand continues their strategy of expanding offering of highest technology medical devices that extend people’s lifespan and improve outcomes of surgical procedures.
