PerkinElmer has introduced HCA ImagAmp reagent kit for automated cell biology that allows unbiased imaging and analysis of cellular samples.
The reagent kit also known as image cytometry is used in research areas including drug discovery, protein expression and signaling pathway analysis, programmed cell death, cell differentiation and cell toxicity.
The kits utilize the company’s proprietary Tyramide Signal Amplification (TSA) technology to deliver unprecedented sensitivity without compromising image resolution.
PerkinElmer Bio-discovery VP and GM Martina Bielefeld-Sevigny said the new HCA ImagAmp reagent kit is designed to allow researchers to measure proteins of interest.
"The sensitivity enhancement provided by HCA ImagAmp technology enables earlier detection of critical cellular events such as apoptosis, speeding disease and therapeutic research," Bielefeld-Sevigny said.
