OSI Electronics, a business of OSI Systems' Optoelectronic and Manufacturing division, has obtained $8m order for its electronic sub-assemblies from a provider of home health care solutions.
In addition to electronic sub-assemblies, the company provides PCB assembly, hybrid and custom micro electronic assemblies, cable assembly, embedded circuirty, custom overmold and strain relief services.
OSI Systems chief executive officer Deepak Chopra said, "With our vertically integrated operations and supply network, we can support this customer from design to prototype to full rate production leveraging our global footprint throughout."
OSI Systems is involved in manufacturing specialized electronic systems and components for critical applications to various markets including healthcare, homeland security, defense as well as aerospace.
