Orthofix International, a developer of repair and regenerative solutions, has introduced its Galaxy Fixation device.
Galaxy Fixation features a streamlined combination of clamps with both pin-to-bar and bar-to-bar coupling capabilities designed for use in temporary and definitive, complex orthopedic trauma applications, where rapid stabilization and fixation is essential.
Galaxy Fixation also includes specific units for the elbow and shoulder.
Orthofix International president and CEO Robert Vaters said they are excited to provide this next-generation, modular system that provides multi-functional, fracture management capabilities in both upper and lower extremity applications for their surgeon customers outside the US.
Orthofix said it has launched Galaxy Fixation at the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California, US.
