NuvoLase, a manufacturer of laser devices, has obtained ISO 13485 certification for its quality management system.
The certification was given based on the design, development, production, installation and service of the quality management system.
NuvoLase president and CEO Steven Duddy said the company made a corporate decision upon the founding of its organization to obtain certification for its quality system.
"At that time we recognized the importance of this certification and began the process from the ground up," Duddy added.
"Successfully completing this process assists us in moving forward with additional regulatory registrations as well as new product development and design."
