TIGR Matrix is a long-term resorbable, synthetic mesh used for reinforcement of soft tissue through a process called mechanotransduction.
The mesh patented dual-fiber construction is designed for gradually increasing mechanical compliance.
The company said the first US patent covered the interlocking structure of a knitted mesh implant.
TIGR Matrix surgical mesh has received the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) in February 2010 and CE mark in August 2011.
