The NovoTwist needle, which comes in 32G Tip (5mm) and 30G (8mm) versions, allows users to ‘just twist’ when attaching the needle with compatible Novo Nordisk pens.
Novo Nordisk said an audible and tactile ‘click’ confirms attachment of the needle and this can be less time consuming for patients.
NovoTwist is also available in South Africa, Italy, Turkey and Thailand and is slated for launch in the UK later this year.
