Wolters Kluwer Health has reported that North Shore Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Centers have selected its ProVation MD software for procedure documentation and coding. The centers also opted for its ProVation EHR electronic health record and patient charting solution. The software will be used at locations in Westlake and Garfield Heights in Ohio.

ProVation EHR is an electronic health record designed for busy, cost-conscious Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). It offers robust electronic documentation and document imaging for all elements of the patient encounter, from past records to procedure documentation to follow-up care.

With ProVation EHR, ASCs have affordable access to a single, patient-centric documentation system that eliminates printing and chart storage costs and streamlines workflow. ProVation MD, available for the full range of ASC specialties, replaces dictation and transcription and allows physicians to efficiently document procedures at the point of care.

ProVation software produces complete, coding-ready and image-enhanced procedure notes that result in greater efficiency, increased profitability and clinician satisfaction.

Mousab Tabbaa, president of North Shore Gastroenterology, said: “ProVation has been long viewed by the GI community as the leader in documentation for endoscopy. The software combines thorough documentation with ease of use and the ability to capture codes to facilitate billing.”

Arvind Subramanian, president and CEO of Health Clinical Solutions division at Wolters Kluwer, said: “North Shore Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Centers are leaders in providing high-quality GI care. We are extremely pleased that Dr. Tabbaa, Dr. Greenwalt, Dr. Springer and their team have chosen ProVation software to document, code and chart procedures at their facilities.”
