For the distribution of Nonin's branded noninvasive monitoring products in the US
Nonin Medical (Nonin) has expanded its partnership with CareFusion to include distribution of its branded noninvasive monitoring products in the US. As per the agreement, CareFusion will distribute Nonin Medical’s pulse oximetry, capnography and sensor product solutions to long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and durable medical equipment (DME) partners.
The company claims that this agreement further grows an already strong relationship between Nonin and CareFusion, that includes the integration of PureSAT pulse oximetry technology into a number of their respiratory products.
With over one million pulse oximeters in the field, Nonin Medical’s PureSAT artifact-free pulse oximetry technology has resulted in a standard designation for patient assessment, claims the company. Nonin’s first-breath capnography technology with waveform display is also being adopted as a standard of care for respiratory assessment in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) market.
