NeuroLogica has entered into a collaboration agreement with Brainlab to jointly develop a software- driven system for targeted, less-invasive medical treatments.
Under the collaboration, Brainlab’s surgical navigation system will be integrated with NeuroLogica’s BodyTom portable 32-slice CT scanner.
The compatibility of both technologies will facilitate surgeons with better orientation in the operating room and enable minimally invasive procedures including spine, trauma, neurosurgery and ENT.
NeuroLogica’s BodyTom is a portable, full body, 32 slice CT that boasts an impressive 85cm gantry and 60cm field of view (FOV).
BodyTom is Dicom 3.1 compliant and compatible with all PACS, surgical navigation, electronic medical records, planning systems and provides CT images wherever needed in the clinic, ICU and Emergency/Trauma departments.
