Northeast Regional Medical Center(NRMC) has formed a strategic alliance with Radisphere, a provider of radiology services.
Under the colloboration, Radisphere will work closely with Northeast Regional’s medical staff to provide the best patient care possible.
Northeast Regional Medical Center assistant CEO Ranee Brayton said their goal is to improve service levels, the turnaround times of radiology reports, and the diagnostic quality provided to their medical staff so they can better serve their patients in the Kirksville area.
Radisphere co-founder Frank Seidelmann said radiology expertise including imaging is a significant clinical and cost component of most major diseases from cancer and cardiovascular disease to obesity and stroke.
"By being a strong partner with clinicians at the start of the treatment process, we can help them to make more informed diagnoses so they can provide the highest quality of care to their patients as efficiently as possible," Seidelmann said.
