Molex Incorporated, a supplier of electronic and electrical components, has purchased Affinity Medical Technologies.
Under the acquisition, Molex will incorporate Affinity’s product line including cable assemblies, connectors and electronic interfaces into its product portfolio.
Molex said Affinity’s products are used in almost every area of medical monitoring, which complements its product line and enables it to expand into the medical vertical.
In addition, the acquisition will allow Affinity to operate as a subsidiary of Molex and will be a part of the company’s Cable Products Group within the global integrated products division.
The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
