MOgene to provide long reads on Roche sequencing platform

MOgene is set to provide new Sanger-length reads on Roche's 454 GS FLX+ next generation sequencing platform.

The long read sequencing upgrade delivers millions of bases from Sanger-length reads.

MOgene VP Shaukat Rangwala said the benefit of this long read technology is in assembling genomes and transcriptomes with large repetitive regions, such as in plants.

MOgene also provides CGH/SNP arrays on Agilent platform and 4.2 M high density arrays on NimbleGen platform.

Mogene’s other services include RNA/DNA isolation, Real time PCR services and Bioinformatics.
